INstyle fashion NYC Easy Returns

If you are unhappy with your purchase or would like to return your items, please act in accordance with the following Return Policy:

  • Returns can only by initiated through our automated RETURNS PORTAL within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be shipped to the specified address that’s listed in the approved return request within 14 days once the return is approved.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging.
  • Items must be free of stains, makeup, deodorant or wear.
  • Bodysuits, swimwear, lingerie and undergarments are non-returnable.
  • Items including hats, beanies, accessories worn over face or on top of head are non-returnable.
  • Beauty products, cosmetics, and accessories are non-returnable.
  • INstyle fashion NYC reserves the right to apply a 30% restocking fee, this includes Final Sale.
  • All returns are refunded via store credit in the form of an INstyle fashion NYC E-Gift Card.
  • Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are received at specified address below.
  • INstyle fashion NYC does not provide pre-paid return labels; you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs to return.
  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. (Note: If such items are not reported in a timely fashion, we will not issue store credit. Please email CustomerCare@INstylefashionNYC.com for assistance).
  • Return packages must include the RMA # and original packing slip to ensure processing. (Note: If the return request form is not filled out correctly, your return may experience delays in processing).
  • Return drop-offs are not accepted at our Distribution Center or administration office at 1732 1st Avenue #20722, New York New York, 10128 for any reason. If a return is unable to be accepted due to improper information, once received, it will become the of property of INstyle fashion NYC and cannot be re-shipped back to you. For this reason, please DO NOT ship items back to us that are ineligible for a return.

Additional notes: Depending on the shipping method and carrier you choose; your return package may take several days to reach us. Keep your proof of postage and ship your return along with a tracking number as we are not liable for return packages that are lost or stolen in-transit. Without proof of receipt and delivery, INstyle fashion NYC will not issue store credit for your returns. Once your return is fully processed, we will issue you store credit in the form of an INstyle fashion E-Gift Card for use on a future purchase. E-Gift Cards never expire and are redeemable right away!

Helpful Hint: if returning by mail, we suggest using USPS flat rate shipping for convenience (you can find information on flat rate shipping via USPS.com) You will be responsible for covering shipping costs to return items and shipping charges must be prepaid.

 

Returned to Sender & Refused Packages

This can happen if 1) an address is invalid or missing information 2) the carrier is unable to deliver your package 3) the order is refused by the customer at the time of delivery.

Returned to sender or refused packages will not be accepted since the address on the shipping label is from one of our distribution centers and cannot accept packages without an authorized RMA. If purchased items are sent to an address other than the one specified by the customer at the time of purchase, INstyle fashion NYC will start the process to ship a replacement item to the correct address. The delivery address comes strictly from the carrier stated delivery address. We are unable to replace or reship any items returned to the distribution center or refused packaging at time of delivery, as all returned shipments are processed by our Returns Department ONLY at the specified address below.

Note:We are unable to make changes to orders that are placed on our system once the order has been shipped. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery. INstyle fashion NYC does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect at the time of purchase.

Reserved Rights Regarding Returns

INstyle fashion NYC reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:

  • An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of “wardrobing;”
  • Purchasing of same product in multiple sizes
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or,
  • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.

Similarly, INstyle fashion NYC reserves the right to refuse service to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.

Our Distribution Center is unable to accept returns for tracking purposes from multiple countries and locations. Non-INstyle fashion NYC items sent to our Distribution Center will be discarded upon receipt.

Wardrobing & Excessive Returns

Our Customer Protection Team handles situations in which “return history” may be indicative of fraudulent activity or wardrobing. In these situations, the Customer Protection Team will reach out to discuss the situation and work with you to either resolve the issue or determine if we need to refuse service going forward. While we never want to reject a return.

Final Sale Items

Items such as, Bodysuits, swimwear, lingerie, undergarments, beauty products, cosmetics, accessories, and "Party Wear" (such as Halloween costumes) are considered Final Sale and non-returnable. Gift Cards are not returnable or redeemable for cash.

Note:If special circumstances are madeto return a Final Sale item, INstyle fashion NYC reserves the right to apply a 30% restocking fee so long as the item is sent back in accordance with our Return Policy and unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging

Exchanges

We are unable to accommodate exchanges by mail. Instead, we welcome you to return your item(s) in accordance with our Returns policy and repurchase the item(s) in your desired size or style once your INstyle E-card has been issued. INstyle fashion NYC does not provide pre-paid return labels; you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs to return.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Items

Should you receive a damaged item, take photos of the item which clearly displays the damage and complete the Return request on our automated portal. You must complete the return form and provide a description of the damaged item and include up to 6 photos clearly displaying the damaged item and packaging if applicable. Once we receive your completed request, our returns staff will evaluate your request and we will notify you via the email on file with our determination. Processing time may take up to 3-5 days due to time of year, sales, events; and does not include weekends nor holidays. If your request is approved, INstyle fashion NYC will send you a prepaid return label and will cover shipping cost.

Returns by Mail

Complete the returns request on our automated returns portal. If the return request form is not filled out correctly, your return may experience delays in processing and get denied. Kindly note that if you neglect to include the correct Order Number on the return form and/or the correct return item(s), we will be unable to process your return. Additionally, multiple order returns must be accompanied by separate return forms for each order.

Alternatively, you may use the packing slip(s) provided with your order(s) to return; simply, clearly mark your packing slip and include the RMA # next to the item indicated on the packing slip.

Pack your item(s) securely in the original product packaging. All items must be returned in original condition (including all paperwork, packaging, and accessories). All items must be unworn, unaltered and unwashed.

INstyle fashion NYC does not provide pre-paid return labels; you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs to return. We do not accept COD deliveries; they will be rejected

Store Credit

Store credit in the form of an INstyle fashion NYC E-Gift Card will be issued for your return item(s) once your package is received and processed at our Distribution Center. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for our Returns Department to process your return once delivered. Your E-Gift Card covers the purchase price of each item and tax, if applicable. INstyle fashion NYC does not issue store credit for the original shipping charges.
